It also offers tips and insights into efficient, environmentally sound, organic, sustainable small farming practices based on the latest research in organic horticulture and regenerative farming.

The Wynlen House community is definitely for those who want the self reliance and sustainable life that growing your own food brings. We are sharing our know-how and experience as South Eastern Australia’s very successful cold climate market gardeners & small farmers. Our gardening approach and knowledge of cool/cold climate growing will enrich your own efforts and help you achieve a more self reliant and sustainable life quickly and with less effort.

Membership will ensure that you are a successful self reliant organic grower without having to make the costly and time consuming trial and error mistakes that it takes to get growing in this demanding climate.

The Wynlen House gardening approach is about applying the philosophy and principles of organic growing (permaculture, biodynamic and the biological) with a knowledge of the cool/cold climate zones to grow vegetables, raise poultry and small farm livestock all year around to the highest standard.

The result is highly nutritious food that has flavour and vitality. You will produce food that supports and enriches the environment rather than damaging it.

What do you get? Timely, seasonal and climate right advice on:

Planning for growing all year around- what to plant in a cool/cold climate and when to plant it and how to prepare for planting. Best practice in soil care:  Guidance for building soil and maintaining soil health over the seasons. Latest techniques of plant care: Organic  weed management, pest control cover cropping and more.

The this first level is all about vegetable growing as well as using the seasonal and varietal produce to cook fantastic food that will be healthful, tasty and impressive. Your health is important so eating well, making the best use of your produce, is vital…and a lot of kitchen cooking fun. We build on this over the seasons. Spring and summer is a time for the most planting Summer and Autumn for the best eating as the summer fruits harvest at their peak.  We cant wait to share some recipes with you and try your recipes via posting them in the FB Group..
